Shooting Macro

I had so much fun with this lens!  It’s a Tamron SP AF90mm f/2.8 Di – Macro 1:1 and I just LOVE the way it blurs backgrounds and how much detail it picks up! These are shots from my flower garden, the first being a geranium of the Cranesbill geranium type.  The flower is actually about 1 to   1-1/2 inches in diameter.

Here are more and keep in mind that these flowers are only beginning their summer growth, but this wonderful macro lens makes them look spectacular already!

And who would’ve thought a Marigold could be so beautiful?!

There will be plenty more floral shots coming as the summer months progress.  See what’s in my garden!

Thanks for looking!
