My Photography Blog

I’m a new photography fanatic.  I’m also a beginner and thought I’d blog about my learning experience as I progress into this wonderful new world.  I’ll post my photos…….good, bad, or ugly and hopefully see myself improve as the weeks, months, and possibly years go by.

I use a Nikon D90 and currently have 2 lenses.  One lense came with my camera and is a Nikkor 19-105MM f/3.5-5.6 and the other is a Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 lense.

I took my first photography class at our local technical college from a really cool photographer named Patrick Hyland.   Take a look at his AWESOME stuff at Hyland Digital Images.

I am currently enrolled in a class at Snapshots of A Good Life taught by Karen Russell, a WONDERFUL instructor!  We’re only in the 1st week but I’m soooo excited about it and looking forward to the next 8 weeks of learning and reinforcing what I’ve already learned but not mastered!!
