Here are just a few of the gorgeous shots I got of Elijah this past weekend. I watched the video by John Ridgeway – The Baby Whisperer (Photovision ‘09) and was amazed at how his advice on shooting sleeping babies during their sleep cycle worked! Where was he when MY kids were babies??!!

I even was able to make his little cap. I refuse to forget how to crochet!! My Mom would be proud.

Of course I took photos of Zander and Aiden too, playing in the leaves and visiting Whitehouse Farms. They’ll be coming next!

Elijah Cade McLeish arrived October 7th at 11:05 a.m. He is 21 inches long and weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces. Adam delivered and cut the umbilical cord with the Dr.’s guidance. His apgar score was 9.8.

This is how I found Boo and Boss the other night when I went to bed. They sure are pals. They’re most generally always together, whether they’re hunting, laying on the deck together or going to bed at night.
I tried out Julie Mead’s new set of Artistic Photo Overlays – Set 3 from the Nifty Boutique. What a fun way to dress up your photos!

It’s been too long since I’ve posted. Adam, Kym, Zander and Aiden were up this past weekend. Besides enjoying their company, I had a chance to shoot some maternity photos with Kym and Adam.

You can see lots more of this shoot on my FLICKR PHOTOSTREAM.
And then on Monday, it was off to the Pittsburgh Zoo. I still have tons of photos to edit from that day but wanted to share a few with you.
Aiden called all the “cats” – kitty kitty

I also managed to shoot these animals and they were too adorable NOT to share! Aiden sharing his snacks with Daddy.

And couldn’t pass up the chance of this belly bump!

I’ve been DYING to shoot photos with the kids eating watermelon. Just happened that Kym, Adam, Nathan, Tempest, and the kids dropped in Sunday night after a day at the water park in Pittsburgh (thus the red skin) and I got my chance!
I just LOVE Aiden’s white hair with his adorable suntan!

I was really disappointed to see that Zander had his head shaved. That’s what he wanted. Gavin has his shaved too. <…..sigh>
I still have pool shots coming. I’ve been procrastinating editing those with the bright sunlight and blowouts!
Caleb, Braden and myself took in a day of hiking at 2 different locations inside Millcreek Park. We first visited “Ford’s Nature Center” where they enjoyed activities for kids and then hiked their trails. We then went to “Lanterman’s Mill”, toured the Mill and then went hiking there as well. I’m sharing a few photos taken during our hikes.
Braden ended up in the creek at one point, wet up to his waist. Quite the explorer and intending on catching a fish to bring home to Grandma’s pool!! I’m just happy that he dried before we got back to the car.

Gene got a surprise delivery from Jessi and Duane for Father’s Day, well a combination Birthday and Father’s Day present. I’d never seen one of these before. I wanted so badly to keep it in the basket all put together as we ate off it, but it wouldn’t fit in the refrigerator……no way no how! I had to tear it down but not before taking a bazillion photos of it. I won’t post all of them though. LOL

I made this slideshow at Smilebox and wanted to share. These are my 2 sons and my grandsons, loves of my life. It is amazing to be able to watch your children being parents to their own children. Loving a grandchild is God’s way of allowing us to love our children all over again, and a way to maybe make up for some things we should’ve or would’ve done differently with our own children. I don’t think there are enough ways to explain the love and pride in this grandmother’s heart when I watch this little slideshow and can revisit it when I miss my children and grandchildren.
